WHY OZONE
Ozone is a blue gas, with a density greater than air, making it an ideal disinfectant for both air and water. Being heavier than air, when applied in a closed environment (rooms, houses, basements, warehouses, offices, shops, swimming pools, changing rooms, hotels, hospitals, doctors’ consultation rooms, etc) or in a motor-vehicle it reaches every surface, whether it is high or low, smooth or porous, and therefore it overcomes the difficulty of disinfecting with standard disinfectants areas which are hard or impossible to reach.
According to the World Health Organisation, ozone is the most powerful disinfectant against all types of microorganisms, bacteria, fungi and viruses. The World Health Organisation recognises that the disinfecting power of ozone reaches 99%. Fifty times more effective at disinfection compared to the most popular disinfectant – chlorine, its effects are visible 3,000 times faster. Ozone kills single and multicellular organisms with low cell specialisation like bacteria, viruses and fungi. Until today it has not been scientifically confirmed that any micro-organisms could become resistant to the disinfectant effect of ozone.
